Mahasthangarh, Oldest city of Bangladesh

 Mahasthangarh, located in Bogra district of Bangladesh, is one of the oldest and most important archaeological sites in South Asia. It was a major city of ancient Bengal, and has a rich history that spans over 2,500 years. The earliest evidence of human habitation in Mahasthangarh dates back to the 6th century BCE, when it was known as Pundranagara.
